Privacy Policy

Raksho is a product of Signalix Technologies Private Limited ("Raksho", "we", "us"). This policy explains, in plain language, what personal data we collect on this website, why we collect it, and your rights under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (the DPDP Act).

Raksho is in development. Today this site does one thing: it collects email signups for our early-access waitlist. We are not a licensed insurance intermediary, and we do not sell, recommend, or solicit insurance.

1. What we collect

When you join the waitlist: your email address, and (optionally) the one concern you select about insurance.
Automatically, when you visit: basic analytics and advertising data such as pages viewed, approximate location, device and browser type, and the source that referred you. This comes from Vercel Web Analytics (cookieless) and, only if you accept cookies, the Meta (Facebook) Pixel.

2. Why we use it

To contact you about early access to Raksho.
To understand what to build (the optional "what worries you" answer).
To measure website traffic and the performance of our ads.

We use your email only to contact you about Raksho. We do not sell your data, and we never pass your email or phone number to insurance agents or call centres.

3. Our legal basis

We process your personal data on the basis of your consent, which you give by ticking the consent box and submitting the waitlist form, and (for advertising cookies) by clicking "Accept" on the cookie banner. You can withdraw your consent at any time (see section 6).

4. Who we share it with

We rely on a few trusted service providers ("Data Processors"). Your data may be processed on their servers, which may be located outside India:

Google LLC: waitlist signups are stored in Google Sheets.
Vercel Inc.: website hosting and cookieless analytics.
Meta Platforms, Inc.: if you accept cookies, the Meta Pixel shares your site activity with Meta to measure and retarget our ads. See Meta's Privacy Policy.

5. Cookies and tracking

Our analytics (Vercel) is cookieless and does not identify you. The Meta Pixel uses a cookie and loads only after you click "Accept" on our cookie banner. You can decline, or change your mind later by clearing this site's data in your browser. You can also opt out of ad personalisation in your Meta ad settings.

6. Your rights

Under the DPDP Act you can ask us to:

Access the personal data we hold about you;
Correct or update it;
Erase it;
Withdraw your consent, as easily as you gave it.

To exercise any of these, email privacy@raksho.in and we will act on it. Withdrawing consent or asking us to delete your data will remove you from the waitlist.

7. Grievances

If you have a complaint about how we handle your data, contact our Grievance Officer at privacy@raksho.in. We aim to resolve grievances within 90 days, as required by the DPDP Rules. You may also raise a complaint with the Data Protection Board of India.

8. How long we keep it

We keep waitlist data until we launch and onboard you, or until you ask us to delete it, whichever comes first.

9. Children

This waitlist is intended for adults aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

10. Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data, and we limit who can access it.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as Raksho develops. When we do, we will change the "last updated" date at the top.
